Attorney Joseph Ponitz, 34, a Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma survivor has served as the Secretary for the Board of Directors of the McHenry County Youth Service Bureau and serves on the Governance Committee of Healing Pathways Cancer Resource Center, where he drafts policies and procedures for the nonprofit agency. For the last several years he has participated in the Men’s Cancer Awareness Bowtie March, Family Health Partnership Care4 Breast Cancer Walk and the Walter Payton Cancer Research Walk.
