Teresa Masterson of Cary shows her tattoo, a rendering involving a halo, angel wings, a railroad symbol, the number 7, and the date 10-25-95, as she waits with blood donors on Saturday, Oct. 24, 2015 at the Fox River Grove Fire Protection District Station 1 in Fox River Grove. Masterson was a freshman passenger on the Cary-Grove High School bus which was struck by a Metra train on October 25, 1995, a tragedy that claimed 7 of her fellow students' lives. Masterson was unable to donate blood on Saturday due to an iron deficiency, however her son Jonathan, 17, was able to donate in her place.
