Lauraleigh Heffner, 23, preps her bike for travel by taking off all the gadgets at her Woodstock home Wednesday, May 20, 2015. Heffner leaves Thursday to bike 4,000 miles from New York to San Francisco with 28 other riders as part of the Illinois 4,000, an annual ride that raises money for cancer research. The ride is expected to take 70 days with bikers riding an average 70 miles a day.
