Rebecca Vieyra is a science teacher at Cary-Grove High School and former finalist for the Presidential Award for Excellence in Mathematics and Science Teaching. She is taking a year off from Cary-Grove starting in September to go to Washington DC where she will work with NASA's Aeronautics Research Mission Directorate to contribute to STEM initiatives after receiving the Albert Einstein Distinguished Educator Fellow.
