Johnson-For Shaw Media Beverly Menta, of Grayslake donates a pint of O Negative blood as she is attached to a Alyx machine which separates her whole blood into bags of whole blood, red blood cells and white blood cells during the Vitalant Blood Drive at the Grayslake Area Public Library. O Negative blood cells are "universal" meaning they can be transfused into almost any patient in need. (12/27/18)
