Mary Kay Horney makes chocolate turtles for a church event at her Lake in the Hills home Tuesday, January 28, 2014. Horney is a member of the Catholic Assistance Mission, which is based in McHenry County and does charitable work in Haiti. She has made a handful of trips to Haiti, and has led trips with local teenagers. To raise money for the trips, she makes and sells chocolate turtle candies.
