Passialis, 28, had not had any previous conditions and thought of herself as generally healthy. After her cardiac arrest she went into a coma for two days, and then stayed in the hospital for ten days before she came home with a defibrillator implanted in her chest. A small hole was found in Passialis' chest while she was in the hospital.
