Cary-Grove senior Matt Hughes looks over old footage of the Chicago Bears while waiting for the start of the National Football Foundation & College Football Hall of Fame Chicago Metro Awards ceremony Monday in Lake Forest. "Looking at these is really cool," Hughes said, "because I was at some of these games." Hughes would go to Bears games with his grandparents Jon and Karen Devine. His grandparents have been season ticket holders for years and they were able to attend the awards ceremony with their grandson. Hughes was one of three students awarded the Bears Community Champion Award for his efforts in community service outside of the football program at Cary-Grove.
