The Gateses recently found out that the class-action lawsuit they were part of against Ringwood manufacturer Rohm and Haas, which alleges that the plant caused a brain cancer cluster through contaminated air and groundwater was rejected by the federal court because it didn't meet the criteria for a class-action lawsuit.
