McHenry County College concert band members and Salvation Army volunteers Bruce Lane of Cary, with a vintage Salvation Army cornet and Terri Bohl of Hebron, with a trumpet play Christmas music Thursday, Dec. 22, 2016 in front of the Crystal Lake Wal-Mart. Extreme weather has caused a $60,000 shortfall in the Salvation Army red kettle campaign of $200,000. Bell ringing ends on Saturday, December 24th.
