The program helps 18-24 year-olds become self-sufficient with higher-paying occupations in manufacturing and healthcare. The program is made possible by a $100,000 grant last year from the McHenry County Workforce Network and was renewed for a second year this year. Sandoval now works at the Workforce Network and hopes to start an internship for a local manufacturer next year.
