Parkview Elementary School students Olivia Rodriguez (left) and Joey Nelsen (right) work with Centegra Health System chief financial officer David L. Tomlinson (center) to create blankets for Project Linus of McHenry County. The event took place at the Boys & Girls Club of Dundee Township in Carpentersville. Project Linus creates a service opportunity for volunteer "blanketeers" to spread warmth to children who are seriously ill, traumatized or otherwise in need through the gifts of new handmade blankets and afghans.
