David Rolow and wife Diana Mark pose for a portrait at their home on Friday, Aug. 28, 2020 in McHenry. Rolow was diagnosed with hemochromatosis 12 years ago and has since developed cirrhosis of the liver with three cancerous tumors and is aggressively seeking a liver transplant. Interested donors must be Type O, have a good body mass index (BMI), and be under 55 years of age. The liver is an organ which regenerates, and donors will only need to give up half of their organ, which takes about two months to return to normal.
