Dawn Payne of Crystal Lake tills the soil within her plot at the community gardens located at Hill Farm Park on Monday, April 27, 2015 in Crystal Lake. This is Payne's third year using the community gardens and though she will be growing a variety of vegetables and flowers, it is the fresh tomatoes she looks forward to the most.
