A large loom, pre-1900's, donated by the DeGraff family sits in the lower level of the Grayslake Heritage Center & Museum, one of several items affected by the flood. After the July 12th flood, more than 120 voluteers, village and museum staff evacuated the lower level. The loom which was too large to move, remains in place.
