A 1980 Beech twin engine plane crash landed with out landing gear down at the Lake in the Hills Airport on Thursday, June 8, 2017. Lake in the Hills Airport remains closed after a twin-engine plane landed without its landing gear late Thursday morning. Neither the pilot nor the passenger of the Beech 95-B55 Baron were injured in the crash, which happened shortly after 11 a.m. Thursday.
The plane came in with its gear up and did not declare an in-flight emergency, Airport Manager Michael Peranich said.
