Valley View Elementary art teacher Tina Wagner touches up the community mural on the Nunda Township Road District barn on Bay Road in Crystal Lake on Monday. Wagner the led a group of 13 volunteers as they painted 13 panels for the new project . Back in 1998 Wagner worked on two murals on what was then known as Graffiti Bridge. “It’s something that’s timeless,” Wagner said of creating community murals. “That’s the reward. You’re able to contribute to something you can always look back at and admire.”The art teacher was inspired to continue doing community murals after seeing so many people come together to help turn “Graffiti Bridge” into a beautiful piece of art back in 1998.
