Maxine Ament of Buffalo Grove (left) helps Taylor Zivis, 11, of Woodstock with his "inside/outside mask" during Courage Camp, a camp for grieving children ages 6-13 who have recently lost a loved one. The masks are designed to help the children express what they feel on the inside and how they act on the outside, one of many activities that take place during the camp. The camp gives children an opportunity to explore their feelings along side others while in a safe, and fun environment. "When you can reach a child this young, it can change their life," said Grief Support Manager Mary Ann Green. Started in 1995, Camp Courage is now in it's 19th year.
