Lou Longo started the recycling program for Turning Point called "Recycle Aluminum – Renew a Life." He set up locations, such as Walgreens stores, Masterteck, BCU Bank in Crystal Lake, and Jacobs High School, where employees can recycle aluminium cans. Lou and some other people pick up the cans and take them to Days & Crawford Scrap Metal in Crystal Lake and get money for recycling. Money received from the recycling is then donated to Turning Point, a domestic violence agency.
